A business management graduate from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai, Samah is a marketing professional by qualification. Currently pursuing a Masters in Creative Writing she is working towards a future in storytelling and hopes to encourage people to read and write even if they have other professional jobs.
At present she is working on her next two novels, and has previously won the first prize in Times of India’s short story competition – Write India – for the prompt by author Preeti Shenoy. The winning story has been published by Times Group in a book – Write India Stories.
A big time hobbyist, Samah spends her time learning new dance forms, exploring cuisines, reading fiction, watching movies, practicing yoga, and baking. A keen enthusiast of fashion and fitness her ultimate goal is to travel the world.
She lives in Mumbai with her best friend who also happens to be her husband.
