Roswitha Joshi is an Indo-German novelist. At the end of her schooling in Hamburg, a vocational counsellor recommended that she should become either a portrait painter or a journalist. Instead, she decided to study Political Sciences and History.
Her marriage to an Indian economist-turned-businessman led her to New Delhi, where she not only worked in various sections of the German Embassy but also contributed many stories to leading newspapers and magazines. In 1999, she turned herself into a full-time writer or ‘word-painter’. By now, she has six books to her credit, the latest being a novel called ‘Trapped in Want and Wonder’.
