Jayashree Dhillon has graduated with English (Hons), followed by a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism, both from Pune University. She enjoys writing and has contributed articles to local newspapers since she was a young girl.
She has worked in an advertising agency and later, was part of a television project at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). This project was a joint initiative of the Govt. of India and the UN. She has also been a sub-editor with a city magazine in New Delhi.
She has taught English and creative writing to children through the Newspaper in Education (NIE) programme, run by the Times of India. Thereafter, she taught English at the Symbiosis English Language Institute (ELTIS) for several years.
Now settled in Pune, Jayashree’s stories borrow from her experiences as an army wife.
